The National Cadet corps of our college has 45 glorious years of serving the Nation. To fulfill the aspiration of our cadets and to render their selfless service towards the nation, the NCC organization started at our college in the year 1969 under the command and control of Capt. B.M.Bhoopalauur with two companies of 200 strength each attached to 34 Mysore BN Hubli, later on attached to 28 Kar Bn NCC Hubli. In the year October 1970 2/Lt C.M.Metgud took charge of one company and contributed to the overall grooming of the company. He also attended one All India Summer Camp at Kirki Poona in 1976 and conducted many other social service activities before relinquishment of his office as Major in the year February 1995.

In July 1994 Prof. Y.G.Baligatti took charge from Major C.M.Metgud as care taker officer and granted commission as 2/Lt in the year 1995. His dedicated efforts in moulding the youth, and instilling confidence in their mind with his multi-dimensional personality is ever remembered. Many notable achievements like preparing of cadets for RDC and TSC, train the cadets to get commissioned in the armed forces etc have taken place during his regime and he proved as an asset to the company. He relinquished his office in 2007 as Captain.

During the year 2007 Lt. S.N.Kallur took charge from Capt. Y.G.Baligatti as officer cadet. He relinquished his office in July 2011 and now the company is under the command and control of Lt. D.M.Yenagi.
